Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have a question for our team? Want to know how we can make your smile whiter or if we will accept your dental insurance? If so, then you have come to the right place! Below, you will find answers to many of the most common questions our patients ask us every day. If you have a question that we have not answered here, please go ahead and give us a call! We are always happy to talk to you and better explain your dental care.

Does Drum Point Family & Implant Dentistry see children?

Yes! We are happy to serve patients of all ages, and that includes the youngest and cutest members of your family. We will go out of our way to make sure they always enjoy calm, cool, and relaxing visits.

Can your office handle dental emergencies?

Yes, and we try to provide same-day care whenever someone calls with an emergency. If you need dental care fast, just give us a call, and we will be ready to help.

What is the best way to whiten my teeth?

A professional teeth whitening treatment from our practice can give you dramatic results and make sure your teeth do not become more sensitive. We are happy to offer both in-office and take-home whitening for your convenience.

Where is your practice located?

We are on Drum Point Rd between Osborn Ave and Hooper Ave, just a few miles east of Brick Blvd. You can find an interactive map to our practice here.

How should I replace my missing teeth?

Our practice is happy to offer a multitude of options that can replace any number of teeth. While we do have more traditional restorations like bridges and dentures, as our name suggests, we are experts when it comes to dental implants. They are able to deliver the most durable, reliable, and natural-looking results of any replacement available today. After a brief consultation, we can discuss all of your options and help you choose which one is best for you.

What sets you apart from other implant dentists in the area?

While any general dentist can claim to offer dental implants, implant dentistry is actually a very complex and precise service, so in order to provide the best care possible, our doctors have taken a variety of advanced training courses. Dr. Ruiz is a graduate of the Misch Implant Institute and a Fellow of the International Congress of Implantologists, meaning he has completed at least 100 hours of implant education and numerous implant cases. And, Dr. Fan has a dental implant certification from Columbia University. Not every dentist goes to these lengths to hone their craft, and that is why we are able to provide a level of care you simply cannot expect from your average practice.

Do you accept dental insurance?

Yes, we are in-network providers for many of the most common dental insurance plans, and we will even file your claim on your behalf. To see how we can use your particular plan to help you save, contact us today!

Do you offer any kind of financing?

Yes! Our practice works with CareCredit, a third-party financier where you can qualify for a low-to-no interest payment plan that will break up the cost of your care into smaller monthly installments. They have plans that can work for any budget, and you can explore your options here.
